Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking an experienced OB/GYN/MFM Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple clinic sites. You will review patient history, prepare findings, and communicate results to physicians while traveling within your assigned area.

Ideal candidates hold RDMS with OB/GYN, have 1+ year high-risk OB/MFM experience, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. This role requires on-site presence and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty.
• Minimum 1 year high-risk OB/MFM experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, and history.
• Create reports to assist physician documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms for fetal/anatomical findings.
• Communicate findings to physicians.
• Assist training and mentoring new team members.
• Support maintenance of imaging quality and equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
