Job summary

BB Imaging in Kansas is seeking experienced OB/GYN Sonographers to join our growing team. You’ll work with physician partners, provide compassionate patient care, and deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging across multiple clinic sites.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP‑accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN specialization.
  • 1+ years of high‑risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and OB/GYN medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with applied physics related to ultrasound.
  • HIPAA compliance when using EMR systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic procedures across clinic sites.
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, and medical history.
  • Create reports to assist physicians with documentation.
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify anomalies in fetus or patient.
  • Communicate findings to physicians and provide guidance during procedures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and supplies.
  • Stay updated on CMEs and ongoing education.
  • Other duties as assigned by managers.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform sonographic procedures
  • Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
  • Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
  • Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
  • Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule‑out patient/fetus anomalies
  • Communicate sonographic findings to physician
  • Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
  • Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
  • Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
  • Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
  • Other duties assigned by managers
IS THIS YOU?
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP‑accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
  • 1+ years high‑risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
  • Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
  • Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
  • Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?
  • Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
  • Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
  • Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
