Job summary

BB Imaging in the United States is seeking experienced sonographers to join our physician-partnered team delivering high-quality ultrasound across multiple clinic sites. You will perform procedures, review charts, and create reports while supporting maternal-fetal care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN specialty.
• 1+ years high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• HIPAA-compliant in EMR usage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide visual guidance to complete amniocentesis.
• Report machine errors or needs to maintain image quality.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies.
• Expand knowledge through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

What You’ll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physicianProvide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
