Job summary

BB Imaging in Texas is seeking an experienced OB/GYN sonographer to join our physician-led team. You will perform high-quality obstetric ultrasound across clinic sites, partner with providers, and support patient care with compassionate communication.

This hourly, non-exempt position offers competitive pay, employer-paid health benefits, generous PTO, and a path for credentialing in MFM. Travel within assigned clinics is required; RDMS OB/GYN and 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RDMS OB/GYN credential required.
• 1+ years OB/GYN sonography experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy and ultrasound physics.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule‑out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS YOU?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years OBGYN sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS:Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
