Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking experienced OB/GYN sonographers to join a daughter-focused, physician-partnered team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound across multiple clinic sites, review charts, and communicate findings to physicians to guide patient care.

Responsibilities include traveling to assigned sites, creating accurate reports, and contributing to high-quality maternal-fetal imaging while maintaining patient care standards and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN specialization.
• 1+ years high-risk OB or MFM sonography experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures across clinic sites.
• Travel to assigned clinic sites within the region.
• Review patient charts and history to guide imaging.
• Create documentation reports for physician review.
• Evaluate and identify potential fetal/anomalies on scans.
• Communicate findings to physicians clearly.
• Support amniocentesis guidance and imaging.

What You’ll Do

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

Is This You?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Do You Score Any Bonus Points?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study

RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS: Category 1 - Tasks involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
