Job summary

A diagnostic imaging company in El Paso, Texas, is seeking an experienced OB and MFM Sonographer. This role involves performing high-quality ultrasound procedures while collaborating closely with physicians. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care, support well-being through industry-leading benefits, and enjoy a flexible work schedule with no weekends. Requirements include a CAAHEP-accredited program graduation and RDMS certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
• Compliant with HIPAA regarding EMR systems.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and OB/GYN terminology.
• Ability to travel to clinic sites within assigned area.
• HIPAA compliant with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures across various clinic sites.
• Inspect and review patient charts and medical history.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate findings to physician and assist in amniocentesis.
• Restock sonography rooms and maintain equipment.
• Restock rooms and maintain equipment.
• Pursue CMEs to expand knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

IS THIS Y OU?

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 1+ years OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
