SONIC Drive-In, in partnership with KBP Drive-In, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, uphold SONIC standards, and drive guest satisfaction while preparing for future leadership opportunities.

The role offers leadership development, ongoing training, and a path to Managing Partner, with performance bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and shift meal discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in quick-service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to lead training, scheduling, and monitor team performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding SONIC standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading training, scheduling, and team performance.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns.
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the SONIC brand.

What you’ll do:

• Help oversee daily operations while upholding SONIC standards and policies
• Support the Managing Partner by leading training, scheduling, and team performance
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control
• Partner with the Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the SONIC brand

What you bring:

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility; quick-service experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment
