KBP Drive-In, part of KBP Brands and operating the SONIC Drive-In concept, is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Radford, VA. You’ll partner with the Managing Partner to lead the team, uphold standards, and drive performance, while preparing for future leadership opportunities.

The role emphasizes training, scheduling, inventory control, and guest satisfaction with a focus on growth within a nationwide franchise network.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• Quick-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations upholding SONIC standards and policies.
• Lead training, scheduling, and team performance in partnership with Managing Partner.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns.
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control.
• Collaborate with Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the brand.

Performance Bonus

Eligible for a restaurant performance bonus.

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility; quick-service experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment
