Job summary

SONIC Drive-In, operated by KBP Drive-In, seeks an Assistant General Manager in Pulaski, VA to partner with the Managing Partner to lead the team and uphold SONIC standards. You’ll help drive restaurant performance and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll supervise training, scheduling, and team performance while managing inventory and food safety. A clear path to future growth and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Help oversee daily operations while upholding SONIC standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading training, scheduling, and team performance.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns.
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the SONIC brand.

What you’ll do:

• Help oversee daily operations while upholding SONIC standards and policies

What you bring:

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility; quick-service experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment
