Job summary

SONIC Drive-In with KBP Drive-In is hiring an Assistant General Manager to partner with the Managing Partner in daily operations, training, scheduling, and enhancing guest experiences at the Little Tree Acres location in Virginia.

You will oversee team performance, manage inventory and cash handling, and support growth initiatives while safeguarding the SONIC brand. This role requires leadership and a passion for hospitality, with a clear path to future opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment including standing, walking, lifting, and operating restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding SONIC standards and policies.
• Lead training, scheduling, and monitor team performance in collaboration with the Managing Partner.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns.
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control.

What you’ll do:

What you bring:

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility; quick-service experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week
• Ability to work in an active restaurant environment, including standing, walking, lifting, moving through compact spaces, and safely using restaurant equipment
