Job summary

Noratel Americas is seeking a Sales Engineer to translate complex customer requirements into practical magnetic solutions. The role spans application engineering and proactive sales development across North American markets, with offices in Toronto, Addison, and Hobart, Indiana.

Remote arrangements may be considered and occasional travel is expected. You will work closely with customers, understand technical needs, and coordinate proposals with Noratel’s engineering, sales, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or product management in electrical/electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and customer specifications.
• Familiarity with UL, CSA, and IEC standards for transformers or power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities across key markets.
• Serve as primary commercial and technical contact for customers and prospects.
• Conduct application discussions to determine requirements and recommend magnetic solutions.
• Prepare technically accurate quotations, proposals, and application information for RFQs.
• Maintain communication with customers and follow up on quotations and opportunities.
• Support customer visits, trade shows, and business development activities.
