Job summary

Rad is seeking a Sales Engineer to join as a remote, customer-facing technical expert supporting the North America sales team through pre-sales activities, solution design, and technical presentations. The role requires 30-50% travel and collaboration with customers to deliver RAD networking solutions while identifying new business opportunities.

The position is remote with a preference for candidates located in Dallas, Denver, or New Jersey.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent in a related technology field.
• 5+ years in providing networking solutions in a fast-paced high-tech environment.
• Knowledge of TDM, packet network, wireless tech and products.
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure verticals (utilities, transport, aviation).
• Ability to handle RFPs and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales support of the sales staff.
• Assisting in the creation and delivery of sales presentations.
• Presenting technical information about current and future RAD products.
• Gathering product requirements for future releases.
• Acting as a consultant on network design and implementation for RAD products.
• Tracking feature requests and issues for future releases.
• Providing high-level TAC escalation support.
• Onsite support for P1 issues.
• Executive briefings on problems and resolutions.
• Identify new opportunities with assigned accounts.
• Lab activity support with TAC POC engineers.
• Alpha/Beta trials and release control.
