Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Sales Engineer to maintain key customer relationships and drive bookings for rotating equipment and related products in the Alabama region. You will coordinate with engineering, service, and manufacturing to fulfill customer needs and deliver ROI-focused solutions.

The role requires strong presentation skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel to large customer sites, including climbs and lifting as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales or applications engineering.
• Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, seals) preferred.
• Ability to communicate ROI and value propositions to customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings to meet/exceed assigned goals.
• Maintain regular communication with key customers and trade organizations.
• Educate customers on products using marketing materials and demos.
• Collaborate with application engineering, service, and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
• Lead meetings, set agendas, facilitate discussions, and assign follow-ups.
• Travel to customer sites; perform demonstrations and site assessments.
