Job summary

At F5, a seasoned leader will manage the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical, focusing on technical sales and strategic alignment with business goals. You will set objectives, plan work, delegate, and ensure the SE organization scales to meet demand, delivering customer-centric outcomes.

Responsibilities include team performance, headcount planning, recruiting with HR, developing partner plans, and driving product requirements with PM and PD.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required or relevant work experience.
• Several years' experience managing technical SEs in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of networking technologies and applications delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to articulate complex tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Solutions Engineering team within the F5 Tech vertical.
• Set objectives, strategy and priorities; delegate assignments and monitor performance.
• Plan headcounts quarterly and yearly; ensure scalability to meet goals.
• Oversee recruitment in collaboration with HR and ongoing staff development.
• Develop and maintain SE partner plans with PS, support, Marketing, PM, etc.
• Communicate strategy, roadmap and product requirements to customers and partners.
• Drive customer success and escalation management with cross-functional teams.
