Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer (SE) with a strong Secure Networking background, Data Center and Security to partner with Account Executives in pre-sales activities. You will deliver customer presentations, perform technical demonstrations, create BoMs, and run proof of concept activities to design solutions that meet customer outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, BS/BA in EE/CS, and Cisco product experience; CCNP Enterprise or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent experience.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis is required.

• Actively contributes to account planning activities to pinpoint growth opportunities and align technical strategies with customer objectives.
• Elevates expertise of Cisco's portfolio with a broadening knowledge of cross-architectural solutions and domains.

• Influences strategic priorities for customers and leads cross-architecture designs.
• Leads demonstrations of technical solutions that address specific business challenges.
