Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer with a strong Secure Networking background, Data Center and Security, to work in a pre-sales role alongside Account Executives. You will present Cisco solutions, perform demos, and help customers design architectures that meet business outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration, customer outcomes, and strong technical guidance across portfolios. Travel and relocation may be required to support customers in the Ohio, Cleveland or Columbus markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in competitor offerings.
• Preferred: CCNP Enterprise or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Cisco's Solutions.
• Experience with secure networking and datacenter networking fundamentals.
• Customer intimacy and relationship-building skills.
• Pre-sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical function.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Create BoMs and run proof-of-concept activities.
• Design solutions to meet customer outcomes and constraints.
• Consult and influence customers and executives on architectures.
• Lead cross-architecture design discussions and collaboration with teams.
