Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer (SE) with strong Enterprise Networking, Data Center and Security background. Cloud, Automation and AI experience are preferred.

The SE works with Account Managers in a pre-sales role, delivering presentations, demos, BoMs, and PoCs to help customers achieve outcomes. The role requires 5+ years of experience, BS/BA in EE/CS, and Cisco product experience or familiarity with competitors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or relevant experience.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis is required
• Knowledge of Cisco's Solutions, and networking fundamentals
• Pre-sales experience preferred
• CCNP Enterprise

Responsibilities

• Actively contributes to account planning activities to pinpoint growth opportunities and align technical strategies with customer objectives
• Leverages Cisco solutions to address customer business challenges in pre-sales engagements
• Creates BoMs, performs technical demonstrations, and runs proof-of-concept activities
• Partners with Account Managers to design cross-architectural solutions and drive customer outcomes
• Drives enablement campaigns and supports complex opportunities across networking, data center, and security domains
• Lead demonstrations of technical solutions addressing business challenges
• Collaborates with internal teams and partners to refine strategic alignment and customer relationships
