Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in the United States (Columbia, SC or Charlotte, NC) is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to drive Cisco Networking solutions, with a focus on secure networking, routing, switching, wireless, and automation.

You will lead demos, PoCs, respond to RFPs, and tailor product configurations to meet customer requirements, working closely with Portfolio Account Teams and partners across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sizing and crafting Routing, Wireless and Switching deployments both On-Prem and Cloud Based.
• 5+ years knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP and network segmentation technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of competitive networking products such as HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive business and growth opportunities.
• Driving demand generation activities.
• Enable technology capabilities internally with Portfolio Account Teams and externally with our partners.
• Understanding customer requirements and mapping technical solutions to meet the needs.
• Network design and deep product knowledge across Cisco solutions.
• Performing product demos and PoC labs.
• Maintaining knowledge of competitive products to position Cisco advantage.
• Following market trends to anticipate customer needs.
• Aligning cross-functionally to various business entities and teams.
