Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solution Engineer to join a high-impact team of technical sales professionals. You will own the Cisco brand across enterprise, government, and service provider clients and act as a trusted advisor bridging complex technology with business needs.

In this role you will develop formal sales plans, build customer-focused architectures with Product teams, lead architectural sales motions, identify opportunities, and deliver technical presentations to executives.

Qualifications

• Relevant networking/telecommunications/datacenter experience with Cisco or competitor offerings.
• Pre-Sales experience with SE/SA skills and knowledge in adjacent tech (Data Center, Security, or Route/Switch/Wireless).
• Strong technical consulting skills to map Cisco solutions to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
• Build consultative relationships with customers and collaborate with Product teams to develop customer-focused architectures driving innovation.
• Lead architectural sales motion aligned with Cisco's strategy and business drivers for individual customers.
• Identify top opportunities and design top-down future-state architectures and Cisco technical strategy.
• Build creative architectural solutions to address customer business problems.
• Deliver and/or support technical presentations to customers and demonstrate business relevance to executives.
