Job summary

Choco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to deliver fast, reliable, API-driven integrations for mid-market customers. You will translate business workflows into scalable technical solutions, working closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure adoption and long-term success.

The role is customer-facing, focused on design and outcomes rather than pure development. You'll build integrations primarily with low-code tools, collaborating with Product and Implementation teams to scale delivery

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in solutions engineering, IT/ERP consulting, or systems integration.
• Experience managing end-to-end API integrations across multiple customer environments.
• Experience with low-code or automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, and Tray.ai.
• Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript or Python) and working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML, webhooks, authentication (OAuth, API keys), and data mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to make complex ideas clear and simple.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver integrations between Choco and customer systems using low-code tools (e.g. n8n and Tray.ai).
• Own integration projects end-to-end from discovery to go-live and ongoing improvement.
• Partner with Account Executives in pre-sales by leading technical discovery, proofs of concept, and integration scoping.
• Troubleshoot and maintain integrations to ensure reliability and performance, and document integration designs for clean handoffs to Customer Success.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams, sharing customer feedback to help shape the product roadmap.
• Share best practices and contribute to scaling integration delivery globally.
