Job summary

Mollie is hiring a Solutions Engineer I in the Connect team. You will support partners to map complex merchant needs to Mollie’s APIs, designing tailored payment solutions and delivering demos and technical workshops.

You will collaborate with Account Executives and product/engineering teams, translating merchant feedback into product improvements. A customer-focused, technically curious mindset helps you align deals with business goals.

Qualifications

2–3+ years in a customer-facing, technical role.
Experience with pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales.
Comfortable with APIs and building solutions on top of them.
Strong discovery skills to map merchant needs to product.
Ability to explain complex payment products to technical and commercial audiences.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders.
Technically curious with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery sessions to map merchant requirements.
Design and present tailored payment solutions linked to Mollie’s APIs.
Build demos, proofs-of-concepts (POCs), and technical workshops to prove value.
Partner with Account Executives to overcome objections and close strategic deals.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to feed merchant feedback into the roadmap.
