Job summary

Acclaim is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help customers adopt the platform from discovery to launch. You’ll translate complex payment requirements into technical solutions, guide integrations, and ensure quick, successful go-lives.

You’ll work at the intersection of customers, payments, and technology in a hands-on, customer-facing role. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in solutions engineering, implementation, technical consulting, or another customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, file-based integrations, and modern software systems.
• Experience leading customer implementations or complex technical projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services is a plus.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Experience implementing enterprise SaaS products is beneficial.
• Experience with complex payment or financial workflows is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design during the sales process with product demos and integration guidance.
• Partner with Account Management to drive customer implementations, workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and go-live readiness.
• Guide customers through API integrations, webhooks, file-based workflows, platform configuration, and other technical requirements.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, technical training, and production launches.
• Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues, involving Engineering when needed.
• Collaborate with customers post-launch as their technical needs evolve.
• Improve implementation processes, documentation, and repeatable solution patterns as Acclaim scales.
