Job summary

Mollie, a leading payments platform, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our professional services team. You’ll own the full pre-sales lifecycle, from discovery to deal closure, focusing on deep API integrations and custom solutions.

Working within a fast-growing, upmarket expansion area, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and use tools like Postman and AI to demonstrate Mollie’s capabilities to mid-to-enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years in a sales engineering, solutions engineering, or pre-sales role, ideally with an engineering background.
• Strong understanding of APIs and REST APIs; hands-on with Postman.
• Fluency in Polish and English; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear product solutions for customers.
• Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or fintech; exposure to external customers.

Responsibilities

• Create custom technical demos and solution pitches using Postman and AI.
• Lead technical discovery across complex customer cases from qualification to contract signature.
• Design scalable API integration solutions for mid-to-upmarket customers.
• Collaborate with CSM team on upsell and revenue opportunities.
• Deliver knowledge-sharing sessions and internal training on Mollie products.
• Handover to post-sales implementation at contract signature.
