Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a proactive technologist to lead technical evaluations during the sales cycle, coordinating with Account Executives on POCs and pilots. The role involves discovering client needs, understanding engineering workflows, and proposing tailored API integrations with client systems.

You will translate complex technical concepts into business value, help shape deployment methodologies, and relay feedback to Product and Engineering teams to guide roadmap priorities.

Qualifications

• Exposure to programming with Ruby/Rails and a solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and the GitHub CLI.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and branching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical evaluations with Account Executives to drive PoCs and Pilots, clearly demonstrating platform value and feasibility.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client needs, workflows, and goals.
• Ask detailed questions to uncover information about engineering processes, branching, deployment workflows, and tooling.
• Design and propose tailored technical solutions for integrating Atlassian APIs with client workflows.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding deployment methodologies and analytics integrations.
• Capture and synthesize technical feedback to inform product and roadmap priorities.
