Job summary

Salesforce, based in McLean, VA, is hiring a senior Sales Engineer to bridge complex aerospace & defense programs with our cloud platforms and Agentforce capabilities. You will design, build, and deliver tailored demos and POC solutions for A&D primes and federal SIs, articulate security postures, and contribute to RFI/RFP responses.

The role requires 7+ years of enterprise CRM experience, AI fluency, and the ability to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solutions/Sales Engineer for CRM or enterprise SaaS serving A&D or Federal SI clients.
• Hands-on Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Salesforce Platform builder capabilities.
• Practical AI fluency with LLMs, RAG, and agentic design.
• Experience with federal compliance frameworks such as CMMC.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication, including with executives.

Responsibilities

• Engage with A&D primes and large Federal SIs to understand program goals.
• Map customer challenges to the Salesforce platform across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, GovCloud.
• Design, build, and deliver tailored demos and POC solutions for A&D/SI use cases.
• Architect and prototype Agentforce solutions for A&D environments.
• Clearly articulate Salesforce’s security and compliance posture to evaluators.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical content and architecture docs.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Capture Managers to drive pipeline.
