Job summary

Nexcess is seeking a Solutions Architect in the United States to partner with Sales, Engineering, Product, and customers to design infrastructure solutions that align with business and technical requirements.

The role serves as the primary technical advisor throughout the pre-sales process, leading solution discovery, architecture design, technical presentations, and proposal development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing IT infrastructure and architectures.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong networking, system design, and performance optimization knowledge.
• Ability to translate complex tech concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience creating architecture diagrams, documentation, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to capture objectives and requirements.
• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal.
• Support pre-sales with solution scoping, RFP/RFI responses, and cost estimates.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and solution overviews to customers.
• Create architecture diagrams, TCO models, and proposal documentation.
