Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Solar Technician II/OPST1H to perform corrective, preventive and emergency maintenance on solar plants. You will use SCADA, Maximo, and SAP to manage tasks, update reports, and initiate work orders while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires outdoor work, travel to client sites, on-call duty, and a valid US driver’s license. Compensation includes hourly pay, bonus/incentive, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in solar/wind generation, manufacturing, mining, or controls & industrial maintenance.
• Willingness for outdoor work and long hours; must be able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations.
• Coordinate high voltage switching with utilities/ISO; substation operations, lockouts, grounding.
