Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Solar Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs at the Sypert Branch solar plant in Rogers. You will access tasks via SCADA, Maximo, and SAP, document work orders, update parts inventory, and submit on-site status reports while following safety protocols.

The role supports on-call outages and emergencies and requires travel to client sites. Work is 80% outdoors and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs; a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience on solar, wind, manufacturing, or mining operations or controls & maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and be on-call within 50 miles of the site.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations within qualified areas.
• Coordinate high voltage switching with utilities and ISO as needed.
• Work independently or in a crew to complete tasks across solar plant systems.
• Utilize SCADA and diagnostic test equipment for monitoring and fault finding.
• Travel to various sites to support maintenance and operations.
