Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Solar Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance at the Sypert Branch solar plant in Rogers, TX. The role uses SCADA, Maximo, and SAP for task execution and requires on-site reporting and inventory updates.

The candidate will travel to multiple sites, handle safety protocols, and participate in on-call rotations to address outages and emergencies. A valid US driver’s license and 50-mile residency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in solar generation/industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the site and be on-call as needed.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on solar plant systems.
• Coordinate high voltage switching with utilities/ISO and perform lockouts/grounding.
• Operate independently or in crews to complete tasks; use SCADA and diagnostic tools.
• Travel to client sites as required for maintenance and outages.
• Submit on-site status reports and update parts inventory.
