Job description

United Solar, a leading solar energy company, is seeking a driven and experienced Solar Sales Manager to join our team. As a Solar Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Outside Sales Representatives, canvassing neighborhoods, approaching residential and commercial property owners, conveying utility overpayment reduction, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence in the region.

Responsibilities
  1. Run sales appointments with residential homeowner customers while also leading a team of appointment closers and appointment setters.
  2. Lead and train new appointment setters to secure their first deals and gain experience in the lucrative solar sales industry.
  3. Manage and monitor sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.
  4. Identify and pursue new territories to expand our customer base.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape, making recommendations for improvements and growth.
Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience as a sales manager or in a similar role within the solar sales industry.
  2. Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  5. Ability to travel within the region as needed.
