Job summary

Venture Home, a Northeast residential energy company, is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to educate homeowners in a Lowe's store about solar energy and to schedule in-home consultations with our Energy Consultants. This full-time role combines hourly pay with uncapped commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

OTE ranges from $55,000 to $85,000 annually with flexible Fri-Tue or Wed-Sun schedules and shifts from 9AM-5PM or 1PM-9PM.

Qualifications

• Comfortable starting conversations with new people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and improve continuously.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage homeowners in conversations about solar energy and home energy savings.
• Qualified homeowners based on basic solar eligibility criteria.
• Educate customers on financial and environmental benefits of going solar.
• Schedule qualified homeowners for complimentary in-home consultations with a Venture Home Energy Consultant.
