Venture Home is expanding its sales team and seeking a Retail Sales Representative to engage homeowners at Lowe's locations and discuss solar energy and energy-saving solutions. This role emphasizes building rapport, qualifying prospects, and scheduling in-home consultations with a Venture Home Energy Consultant.

You will work in a retail environment, enjoying flexible scheduling and strong earning potential through competitive hourly pay and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, customer service, lead generation, marketing, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Friendly, confident and comfortable starting conversations with new people.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude are important.
• Reliable transportation to Lowe's locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Venture Home inside Lowe's locations in a professional manner.
• Engage homeowners in conversations about solar energy and home energy savings.
• Qualify homeowners based on basic solar eligibility criteria.
• Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of going solar.
• Schedule qualified homeowners for complimentary in-home consultations.
• Document customer information and appointments accurately and timely.
• Attend ongoing training to stay updated on products and promotions.
• Aim to meet appointment and performance goals while delivering great customer experiences.
