Job summary

Origis Energy is hiring a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician in Gainestown, AL. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems, following safety procedures and using CMMS/SCADA tools to monitor performance.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinating with remote operators. Strong electrical knowledge and willingness to work in safety-sensitive conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M or utility-scale maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and operate SCADA/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance on AC/DC systems and components.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist in testing and commissioning.
• Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO during tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS; coordinate with remote operators.
