Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain and troubleshoot utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems in Gainestown, AL. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to faults, and ensure safe operation per established procedures.

Responsibilities include working with SCADA, coordinating with remote operators, and keeping precise CMMS records. Advanced roles may involve leading troubleshooting across OEM platforms and developing LOTO procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or training preferred.
Experience in large-scale solar O&M.
Competency reading electrical schematics and operating SCADA/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems and inverters.
Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist with commissioning and testing.
Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance as needed.
Coordinate with remote operators and maintain CMMS records.
Train junior technicians and assist in planning maintenance schedules.
