Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. You will work with AC/DC systems, inverters, transformers, and control interfaces, following strict safety procedures and using CMMS/SCADA tools.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read schematics, and experience with high-voltage components. Expect on-site work in Gainestown, AL, with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience in solar O&M or utility-scale maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and operate SCADA/CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems.
• Inspect AC/DC systems, inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear, and high-voltage components.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA; support commissioning and system modifications.
• Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO and maintain maintenance records.
• Lead and mentor technicians; operate torquing, calibration, and tool use.
