Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. This role requires understanding of solar operations and electrical systems, with the ability to perform tasks independently while following established safety procedures.

Technicians contribute to the overall efficiency of site operations through preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and system monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or training preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics, operate SCADA, and use CMMS for maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair AC/DC systems, inverters, PV modules, and switchgear.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist in commissioning and testing.
• Follow safety protocols (JHA/LOTO) and document activities in CMMS.
