Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and accurate CMMS record-keeping while supporting site operations and system modifications.

Responsibilities include inspection, testing, and repair of AC/DC systems, inverter and transformer work, and liaison with remote operators to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or industry training preferred.
• - Experience in large-scale solar O&M; experience requirements vary by position level.
• - Competency in reading electrical schematics, operating SCADA systems, and using CMMS for maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on AC and DC systems, including inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear, and high‑voltage components.
• Monitor plant operations through SCADA and contribute to commissioning, testing, and system modifications.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Lock‑Out‑Tag‑Out (LOTO).
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance as required.
• Work with remote operators to identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using CMMS software.
