Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Utility Solar Technician II in Gustine, CA to oversee maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical components including inverters, transformers, and metering systems.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a related role or journey-level certification, with strong electrical safety knowledge and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA.
• Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify AC/DC PV systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
