Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a maintenance technician for utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor, test, inspect, and repair AC/DC systems, including inverters, transformers, and metering, ensuring reliability and safety.

Travel to sites will be required; strong safety training and lockout/tagout experience are expected. Qualifications include 2+ years in a related role or journeyman cert, SCADA/controls familiarity, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college or technical degree preferred; electrical certifications a plus.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPI-driven maintenance and improve plant efficiency.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Responsible for personal safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Plan and execute on-site projects, installations, commissioning, quality inspections, and performance testing.
• Maintain documentation and required reports, review and file.
• Attend training and ensure safe, compliant work practices.
