Job summary

First Solar, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform on-site service and repair of equipment, following established procedures and safety standards at our facility.

The role requires minimal supervision, strong troubleshooting ability, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Candidates should meet basic education requirements and be prepared to complete the Maintenance Technician 1 training program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Meet at least 70% of Estimated Repair Times.
• Collaborates with other departments.
• Follows OSHA/EPA and company safe practices.
• Reads electrical & mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Performs other assignments as required.
• Manages waste generated from work.
• Complete First Solar Maintenance Technician 1 training program.
• Other duties as assigned.
