Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking a Technician- Maintenance I USA (B Crew/PM Shift) to perform maintenance of facility and equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred technical degree and some related experience. On-site work with safety and collaboration across departments.

Candidates will complete the Maintenance Technician 1 training and must read electrical and mechanical drawings, using Word/Excel/Outlook. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Must meet one of: 6 months First Solar manufacturing experience or 6 months outside manufacturing/technical experience or military experience or vocational high school graduate.
• Verifiable technical skills and/or background; ability to work with little supervision.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skill and knowledge of production equipment; reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
