Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking an on-site technician to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment. The role includes troubleshooting day-to-day issues on the production line and contributing to yield and product performance enhancements.

You will participate in training, support the Technical Supervisor, and ensure processes run to the Process Control Plan. Travel for onboarding and training may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or higher.
• Technical associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing equipment installation, maintenance, or repair.
• EMT experience or equivalent preferred.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Perform on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements.
• Develop and update internal documentation and SOPs.
• Provide training to production associates.
