Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Superintendent to oversee solar construction on our TX job sites. The role sits within SDI Services, an SOLV Energy affiliate, with day-to-day work on a Cleburne, TX project site.

You will coordinate crews, drilling equipment, and subcontractors to deliver safety‑driven, on‑time outcomes. You will lead planning, budgeting, and execution, interfacing with engineers and field teams to ensure quality and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience in foundation drilling and construction project management.
• Enforce and promote a safety culture on-site, adhering to regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee solar construction operations on projects.
• Lead solar construction crews, equipment, and subcontractors to meet goals.
• Collaborate with engineering to interpret geotechnical data and drill methods.
• Develop schedules and budgets, monitor progress, adjust as needed.
• Conduct site inspections of soil conditions and drilling progress.
• Enforce safety protocols and run regular safety meetings.
• Maintain equipment, manage inventories and supplies for drilling ops.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders and management.
• Manage a crew to ensure timely, on-budget completion to standards.
• Lead foundation drilling projects from start to finish.
