Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is hiring a Solar Field Service Technician, Level 1, to perform field maintenance at a Tucson, AZ site. You will learn safe work practices, operate solar equipment, and collaborate with EPC management on improvements.

The role requires basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge and a willingness to travel for training. Responsibilities include on-site service across solar plants, on-call support, and accurate reporting of work performed, with emphasis on safety, quality, and

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to identify and perform Lock Out/Tag Out on energized parts.
• Solid basic understanding of a solar installation/plant.
• Proficiency with basic computer operation and documenting work.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the top priority and follows safe practices.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Respond on-call for emergency repairs as directed.
• Collaborate on process improvements with EPC management.
• Uphold SOLV Energy diversity and inclusion in culture.

Mechanical/electrical environment

Electrical systems understanding
