SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 2) to perform field maintenance and troubleshooting on solar facilities at a McCamey, TX jobsite. The role emphasizes safety, self-sufficiency, and a strong understanding of PV systems.

The technician will test, diagnose, repair, and maintain solar equipment and electrical systems, using monitoring platforms and the Sprocket system to manage time and materials. This position offers hourly pay and requires on-call support.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform solar equipment testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair with minimal supervision.
• Test electrical systems on solar equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
• Use monitoring platforms (Locus, QOS, Vitals, RTDB) to diagnose issues.
• Accurately track time and materials for jobs.
• Operate service equipment safely and maintain records.
• Provide on-call support at assigned solar facilities.
• Create and document tickets from start to finish in Sprocket.
