SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to join our field team in McCamey, TX. The role begins as a contingent position with potential to transition to permanent.

You will perform field maintenance, follow safe work practices, service solar equipment across plants under supervision, and respond to on-call requests. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Formación

• Formal training or experience in mechanical/electrical environments.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures safely.
• Understanding of solar installation/plant operations.
• Familiarity with testing equipment.
• Proficient in basic computer use.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for training and site coverage.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to work at remote locations in extreme weather.
• On-call availability.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsabilidades

• Safety is the top priority and all employees must follow safe practices.
• Work safely and seek guidance when tasks are unfamiliar.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance on solar equipment.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond on-call as directed to assist in emergency repairs.
• Prepare documentation and reports of work performed.
• Collaborate with EPC management on process improvements.
• Support diversity and inclusion as part of SOLV Energy culture.
