Job summary

ENGIE is seeking a Sr. Solar Technician to perform repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on solar power plant systems at the Sypert Branch in Rogers, TX. You will work with SCADA, Maximo, and SAP to manage work orders, perform complex maintenance, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

Travel to multiple sites may be required as part of the role. The candidate should have at least five years of experience in solar or related heavy industry, a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum five years of experience at solar generation sites, wind, BESS, thermal plants, manufacturing or mining operations, or controls & industrial maintenance.
Must obtain AVO substation technician certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders in coordination with ROCC and operate all electrical and mechanical systems within the plant.
Write plant orders, procedures, operating instructions, JSPs, LOTO documentation, and other materials as required.
Work independently or with a crew to complete tasks across solar plant systems.
Use SCADA and digital tools for monitoring and diagnostics, plus test equipment like megger and IV curve testers.
Travel to various sites to support maintenance and operations.
