NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Field Technician to support operations at a utility-scale PV power plant in Sidney, IL. You will monitor plant performance via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering.

The role requires 2+ years in a related position or journey-level certification, a High School diploma (college/technical degree preferred), a valid driver’s license,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience in operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls operation.

Responsabilités

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems.
• Assist in planning and executing on-site projects, installations, commissioning, quality inspections, and performance testing.
• Ensure work orders are complete and documentation submitted.
