NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Field Technician to perform maintenance and operation tasks at a utility-scale PV plant in Sidney, IL. The role involves monitoring operations via SCADA, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Requires 2+ years of related experience or journeyman-level certification, and a HS diploma (technical degree preferred).

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls operation, troubleshooting advanced components, and using procedures for preventative/corrective maintenance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA and derivate maintenance tasks.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify AC/DC solar PV systems including inverters and PV modules.
• Demonstrate strong safety practices and follow Job Hazard Analysis and Lockout-Tag-Out procedures.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and complete required reports and documentation.
• Assist with planning and execution of on-site projects and testing as needed.
