Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance on solar projects in Bennett, CO. You will learn safe work practices while supporting solar plants and on-call response with supervision.

The role requires basic electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge, a GED/HS diploma, and willingness to travel. On-site work at multiple solar sites is expected with ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; NFPA 70e certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and ensure employees follow safe practices.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance using monitoring programs.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate reports of work performed.
• Collaborate on process improvements with EPC management.
